The terrain is beautifully varied with wide-open views, perfect for nearly anything you want to do here. Being mostly level, you can take your pick of spots to build or setup camp and enjoy relaxing under stars at night. There appears to be a small seasonal stream that spans the northern portion flowing east to west and another stream that spans the southeast corner, giving a great water source during the rainy season. Elevation climbs towards the south-southwestern border of the property with gently rolling to sloping terrain, giving you more views and your own playground for recreational use. With convenient access to I-80 and BLM land all around, you’ll find a variety of wildlife in the area and plenty of nature to explore.
You can camp on this property, live in an RV, build your tiny home, or bring a mobile or pre-manufactured home to this remote area with very few restrictions. The following are permitted:
Elko County offers multiple outdoor adventures where you can camp, hunt, fish, and so much more. The small town of Osino is just 10 miles where you’ll find a charming community with all of the basic necessities. Need a little city life? Take a quick drive to Elko for plenty of restaurants, a golf course, post office, airport, and a Walmart. Known for its Cowboy and mining culture as well as artistic heritage, there is no shortage of events like the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering and National Basque Festival. Head to the Ruby Mountains, likened to the Swiss alps with its steep peaks that reach upwards 11,000ft and has vast glacier-formed canyons in the Lamoille canyon. You can spend the day venturing out but then have a peaceful base to come back to.
