This property is within the Chevelon Canyon Ranch aka the Ranch, a 32,000-acre hobby-ranching community located in an off-grid wilderness area. The association maintains two self-powered wells on the Ranch to provide free water to all Owners for hauling 24/7. There is also a trash dumpster at each well site to save Owners the cost of hauling trash to town. The association maintains a park for community events and/or free private gatherings by property owners and their guests. The park features a 40 x 60-foot Ramada, BBQ grills, a firepit, portable toilets, and a horseshoe arena. The area greens up during the Monsoon season Late June thru September. Pronghorn Antelope, deer, and elk are in the area as well as Coyote, Bobcats, and Mountain Lion. Bald eagles, hawks, and osprey hang out around the canyon. So, you have just the right balance of seclusion, nature, and comfort. You can set up your homestead for the off-grid life and you’re surrounded by outdoor adventures.
Visiting the Property: We are not real estate agents and we actually own the properties we have for sale. We run a self-service setup which means you are welcome to go view the property on your schedule and at your leisure. We only ask that you do so during daylight hours. Access to the property is via Yankee Hill Drive from SR 377. With Chevelon Canyon to the west, you will need to enter from the southeast side of the property.
Notes from photographer: This property is a little ways from the highway but is easy to reach as all of the roads appear to be very well maintained. The land is relatively flat with road access on the South and North ends. There is only one visible neighbor a few parcels to the northeast, but otherwise this place is isolated, which is great. Chevelon Canyon is within walking distance of the property. which eventually runs into Chevelon Lake about 20 mi south directly. Cell service was limited. The county recently graded the main roads up to a mile from the property. Looks like water flows pretty well across the property.
